Capital Readiness — Johnsburg, Wednesday, September 24th
Hosted by the Lake Champlain – Lake George Regional Planning Board, this workshop is designed for owners preparing to approach lenders. We demystify the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, then translate the 5 Cs of credit into concrete actions you can take. You’ll learn what bankers look for, how to present your numbers, and how to assemble a clear, lender-ready package. Walk out with a checklist, a draft narrative for your financing request, and a roadmap for strengthening your financials over the next quarter.
Digital Marketing & Sales — Lake George Senior Center, Thursday, September 25th
Presented by the Lake Champlain – Lake GeorgeRegional Planning Board, this session helps busy owners align brand, outreach,and sales so marketing turns into measurable results. We’ll cover choosing theright channels, planning engaging content, optimizing Google Business Profile,and improving website conversion. You’ll connect event-driven promotions withday-to-day sales activity to drive foot traffic and online orders. You’ll leavewith a lightweight content calendar, key metrics to track, and an action planto boost visibility and close more sales.
SBTA Program Eligibility
To participate in the Small Business Technical Assistance Program, your business must meet the following criteria:
Location: Must be located in Clinton, Essex, Hamilton, Warren, or Washington County.
Size: Fewer than 25 employees
Ownership: Must be independently owned.
Industry Restriction: Due to federal funding, businesses related to the cannabis industry are not eligible.
Businesses may participate in the Program without the need for financing
Participation Requirements:
Access to the internet (program is delivered online)
Commitment of 2–4 hours per week for a period of 8–12 weeks
