Senior Planner:
The Lake Champlain – Lake George Regional Planning Board (LCLGRPB) is seeking a full-time Senior Planner. This position is responsible for the development and coordination of community-based projects and programs focusing on zoning and community development, transportation, housing, main street reinvestment, recreation, sustainability and climate resiliency, and water quality and natural resource protection throughout the Adirondack Park, Hudson Valley, and Northern Border Region of northeast New York State.
The successful candidate must be able to author and manage federal and state grant programs and have strong writing, data analysis, communication, fiscal management, and computer skills. Must be able to work independently and cultivate and maintain working relationships with staff and various public and private partners. Work will include a significant amount of public engagement and consensus building.
Minimal night/weekend meetings annually.
